The short version: ChooseWeaver collects nothing about you or the stories you write. The only thing it ever sends us is feedback, and only when you write it and press Send.

The long version

Widget Press built ChooseWeaver as a commercial app. This page informs visitors and users of our policies on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

Information collection and use. ChooseWeaver has no account, no analytics and no crash reports, and never sends your stories to us. Your stories are files on your computer. The one exception is feedback you choose to send, below.

Feedback you send us. If you send a report from Provide Feedback… in the Help menu, we receive what you wrote, your email address if you give one, and basic details about the app and your computer, but never anything from your stories. We use reports only to reply to you and improve the app, never sell or share them, and will delete yours if you ask at inquiry@widgetpress.com.

Purchases. ChooseWeaver Unlimited is bought through the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store. Apple and Microsoft handle payment; we do not receive your payment details.

Log data. We do not log any data about how you use ChooseWeaver.

Cookies. We do not use cookies.

Stories you publish. The web edition of a story made with ChooseWeaver saves its reader's place, and the endings they have found, in their own browser. What you do with your story, and any data you collect from its readers, is up to you.

Links to other sites. This site links to the app stores where ChooseWeaver is sold, and to GrueWeaver's site. Those sites are not operated by ChooseWeaver; we advise you to review their privacy policies.

Children's privacy. Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes. We may update this policy from time to time; changes are posted on this page and effective immediately.

Contact. Questions about this policy: inquiry [at] widgetpress [dot] com.
